Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), “The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East”, regularly hosts the National Racing Festival (NRF) during the course of the season.

 

The NRF is held over a weekend and it features the very best local motor racing championships.

It brings together top drivers from both circuit racing and drag, many of whom come from all over the Gulf for a chance to battle it out for supremacy.

 

In the 2011/2012 season, the NRF was comprised of the WGA Supercars Middle East Championship, the BIC 2,000cc Challenge and the Bahrain Drag Racing Championship. Rounds were organised by the Circuit Racing Club and the Bahrain Drag Racing Club, in cooperation with BIC and the Bahrain Motor Federation.

The 2012/2013 campaign had recently kicked off with action in the BIC 2,000cc Challenge and Bahrain Drag Racing Championship.

Plenty more excitement and thrills await fans over the remainder of the season at the National Racing Festival.
