Vitantonio Liuzzi
Italian Vitantonio Liuzzi lines up for a full season with Force India, having ably stepped up from his testing role in 2009 to replace Ferrari-bound Giancarlo Fisichella. After winning the last ever Formula 3000 title in 2004, he’s been a consistent performer during his time in F1, having raced for Red Bull, its junior Scuderia Toro Rosso spin-off and now Force India. He’s had his good moments, such as scoring Toro Rosso’s sole point in 2006, and taking seventh on the grid in his Force India debut in the 2009 Italian Grand Prix. But, taking on talented German Adrian Sutil in 2010, he needs to do considerably better if he’s to stay in F1 for the long-term.
