Nico Rosberg

Having burst onto the scene with a charging points finish on his Formula 1 debut with Williams in 2006, Nico Rosberg is in danger of being swamped by the next generation of budding champions. The son of 1982 title winner Keke Rosberg looks and sounds the part, has an impressive engineering grasp, qualifies accurately and races aggressively. The move to Brawn GP for 2010 seemed a canny decision, as Nico elevated himself to a top car from which he could take on his peers. It seemed even more canny as the team evolved into Mercedes GP. But the arrival of Michael Schumacher leaves Nico in danger of being thrust into a supporting role amongst F1’s players. He’ll need to make his mark to avoid that happening.
