Bahrain International Circuit will host the official press conference launching the countdown to the region’s second-largest sporting occasion, the Gulf Air Desert 400, featuring the V8 Supercars Australia Championship tomorrow morning, Tuesday 26th January.
Shaikh Salman bin Isa Al Khalifa, Chief Executive Officer at Bahrain International Circuit, and Kyle Haywood, Chief Commercial Officer at Gulf Air, will be the main speakers at the conference, which is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.
Shaikh Salman bin Isa will be revealing all the details regarding the exciting Gulf Air Desert 400, which will feature the Australian V8 Supercars Championship, taking place on the 25th, 26th and 27th of February at ‘The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East.’ He will also be announcing the event’s support races and entertainment schedule, as well as be available for questions from the media.
Bahrain International Circuit has invited journalists and photographers from all the major national and regional media outlets to attend the conference. They will have the opportunity to pose questions in regards to the Australian based championship, support races, entertainment and other race related topics, as well as learning what the race organizers have in store for the general public.
This year’s Gulf Air Desert 400 will be the fourth V8 Supercars race to be hosted by Bahrain. In 2007, it was named the best event of the championship, signifying its popularity amongst the Kingdom’s race fans and those from across Australasia.
