BIC Race Zone Raffle Winner Takes Home BD5,000

Manama, Tuesday 9th March 2010: Bahrain International Circuit announced today the winner of the first raffle held at BIC Race Zone as part of the brand new promotion introduced earlier in the week in support of the 2010 Formula 1™ Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix.

Fatima Al Bulooshi, ticket number 03291, was selected as the lucky winner of BD5,000 following the raffle held at BIC Race Zone yesterday, Monday 8th March. The 17 year old who attends West Riffa High School, expressed her delight at winning the cash prize and stated she did not yet know what she would do with the her considerable winnings.

The fantastic promotion will continue with a new raffle winner selected everyday up till Thursday 11th March, the day before the first day of the 2010 Formula 1™ Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix. With a total of BD15,000 in prize money up for grabs over the next three days, the BIC Race Zone raffle is the highlight of this year’s Formula 1™ promotional campaign. The next winner of BD5,000 will be selected at BIC Race Zone tomorrow at 6pm.

Any tickets purchased to be used at the variety of rides and games found at BIC Race Zone are eligible to be included in the raffle. Participants just need to fill out a raffle ticket form with their name, CPR number and contact information to take part in the raffle. The more game tickets purchased the better chance participants have of winning the cash prize as there is no limit to the amount of tickets an individual can include in the draw. All tickets that are entered into the raffle box will stay in and each day a new ticket is picked giving participants even better odds to claim the BD5,000 prize of the day.

Tickets to the 2010 Formula 1™ Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix are now available for purchase online at Bahrain International Circuit’s official website, www.bahraingp.com. They can also be bought by calling the circuit hotline on +973-17-450000, or by visiting the circuit stands at Seef Mall, Bahrain City Centre or at Race Zone. Tickets can also be purchased at the circuit premises in Sakhir, at the Welcome Centre located at the entrance.
