DO CHILDREN NEED A TICKET?
Yes, all children above three years old will need a ticket. Those that are younger will be able to enter the circuit without a ticket. Proof of age may be required.
WHAT AGE DO YOU HAVE TO BE TO BE CLASSED AS A CHILD?
To be classified as a child, you must be aged between three and 12 years old. Youngsters aged between 13 and 17 are classified as school students.
ARE THERE STUDENT DISCOUNTS ON TICKETS?
Yes, there are various student discounts. Children aged between three and 12 can get 50% off on the ticket price. School students aged between 13 and 17 can get 25% off on their tickets, while university students may avail of a 10% discount.
ARE THERE GROUP RATES FOR TICKETS?
No, there are no group rates for tickets to the Formula One Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix.
WHICH CREDIT/DEBIT CARDS DO YOU ACCEPT?
Bahrain International Circuit accepts all major credit cards and debit cards, including VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS, JCB and other DEBIT CARDS.
CAN I BUY A TICKET ON THE GATE?
Yes, tickets can be purchased on your way to the circuit at a special ticketing tent located right next to Sakhir Petrol Station, which is about a kilometre away from the BIC car park. We do advise, however, that you purchase your tickets beforehand from our outlets in the various shopping malls, online, or through our BIC Hotline. This will help you avoid any long queues due to a large number of people buying at the last minute, as well as any disappointment from missing out on the seats/grandstand of your choice.
WHEN WILL MY TICKETS BE DISPATCHED?
Your tickets will be ready for you to pick up soon. Once they are available, you can pick them up by printing the online confirmation of your purchase and presenting it to the BIC sales team member at any of our outlets.
WHAT IF I LOSE MY TICKETS?
Lost tickets can be replaced by BIC as long as the buyer is in possession of any proof of purchase. Once replacement tickets are issued, the previously bought ones automatically become invalid.
CAN I PURCHASE SINGLE DAY TICKETS?
Yes, we have it on Batelco Grandstand only Friday BD 60 – Saturday and Sunday for BD 100.
CAN I GIVE MY TICKET TO SOMEONE ELSE IF I CAN’T ATTEND THE RACE WEEKEND?
Yes. However, only one ticket can be used per person to enter the circuit.
HOW MANY CAR PARK PASSES AM I ENTITLED TO GET?
1 parking pass per 3 tickets purchased. Additional parking pass for less than 3 tickets: BD 10.
IS THERE A SPECIAL DISCOUNT FOR SENIORS?
Yes, senior citizens aged 60 years old and above can get a 25% discount on their tickets.
IS THERE A TICKET ONLY TO ACCESS THE F1 VILLAGE OR TO ATTEND THE CONCERTS?
No, there is none. All ticket-holders will be able to access the Formula One Village and attend the concerts.
DO I HAVE TO PURCHASE A SEPARATE TICKET TO ENTER THE CONCERTS?
No, any F1 ticket holder will be able to attend all of the concerts taking place during the race weekend.
IS THERE A DISCOUNT FOR PEOPLE WITH SPECIAL NEEDS?
Yes, there is a discount of 25% for people with special needs.
CAN GULF AIR FREQUENT FLYERS GET ANY DISCOUNT?
Yes, Gulf Air Frequent Flyers may avail a discount of : Black 20%, Gold, Silver and Blue 15% ( up to 2 tickets per member).
WHERE CAN I COLLECT MY TICKET PACKS?
You can collect your ticket packs from the following locations: 1) BIC Welcome Center - Until 4th April 2018, 2) Bahrain City Centre, Ground Floor opposite gate no.3, 3) The Avenues, BIC stand in Gate 1 - from 22nd March 2018 onwards, 4) Moda Mall, Fashion court - from 21st March 2018 onwards, 5) Bahrain International Airport, Arrivals hall - from 1st April 2018 onwards, 6) BIC last point of Ticket Sales Tent next to Sakhir Service Station – from 4th April 2018 onwards

Race Weekend

CAN I TAKE PHOTOS?
Yes, you may take photos as you please, but only in areas accessible to the public.
WHERE WILL THE GIANT TV SCREENS BE LOCATED?
Giant TV screens will be located at strategic points around the track, usually facing the grandstands. This gives fans in attendance the chance to follow all the action in real time while the cars are in other sections of the track.
CAN I GET INTO THE PIT AND PADDOCK AREA?
You are generally not allowed access into the pit or the paddock area. However, all three-day ticket holders can take part in a Pit Walk, scheduled to take place on the Thursday of the Grand Prix weekend. Also as a ticket holder you are able to attend the autograph signing session where you can meet your favourite F1 driver, get their autograph and take photos.
