Mohamed Mattar and Abdulla Buhindi overcame wet conditions to clinch the top prizes in the latest round of the 2016/2017 Bahrain Karting Sprint Championship (BKSC), held this past weekend at Bahrain International Karting Circuit (BIKC) in Sakhir. Pedro Hiltbrand of CRG SpA and Victor Martins of VDK Racing were this evening crowned the undisputed world champions of karting. Hiltbrand clinched the title in the CIK-FIA World Championship, while Martins was the winner in the CIK-FIA World Junior Championship. Khaled Alsaie came away with the narrowest of victories in the second round of the Bahrain SWS Sprint Championship. Ali Baslar made a winning start to the new national karting season last week. He claimed a resounding victory in round one of the 2016/2017 Bahrain SWS Sprint Championship at BIKC.
