About the 2017 BIC National Day Festival
The BIC National Day Festival is one of the biggest annual events in the Kingdom of Bahrain. This year it is scheduled to take place from December 14 to 17.
Bahrain International Circuit is once again organising and hosting the momentous occasion. This signifies the important role the circuit plays in being a global ambassador to the country and how highly it is regarded as an iconic venue to all those visiting Bahrain.
The BIC National Day Festival is being held with the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister.
The spectacular celebration marks both Bahrain’s National Day and His Majesty King Hamad’s accession to the throne.
It will include all sorts of children’s rides and activities, a traditional suq, food and beverage stalls, and live musical performances.
In 2016, BIC had an unbelievable concert line-up that included prominent performers including Khaled Fouad, Dalia, Khamis Zowayed, Mohammed Al Jumairi & Basel Ahmed and Abdullah Rowaished.
To add to that, BIC organises the Kingdom of Bahrain’s biggest fireworks display, illuminating the Sakhir desert sky with loads of brilliant colour.
BIC’s National Day Festival has become a favourite occasion in the local community, for both Bahrainis and expatriates alike. Last year, more than 90,000 flocked to Sakhir to be a part of the celebrations.
