Burnout set to light up BIC on Friday night

Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) kick starts its exciting calendar of events this Holy Month of Ramadan with the first of a series of Burnout nights on Friday, May 18, in Sakhir. Burnout is one of the most popular events held annually at the circuit during Ramadan, with scores of participants putting on a show for the large crowds that attend. World champion Lewis Hamilton stormed to an impressive pole-to-flag victory today in the Formula 1 Gran Premio De Espana Emirates 2018. Hamilton steals late victory in Baku

World champion Lewis Hamilton came away with a surprise victory today at an eventful Azerbaijan Grand Prix. Hamilton was gifted the win after Mercedes teammate Valtteri Bottas suffered a puncture while leading the race with only two laps to go. Bottas’s right-rear tyre damage was caused by some on-track debris and it cost him his race. Shaikh Salman and Almuyini win big in national racing finale at BIC

Shaikh Salman bin Isa bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa and Ahmed Almuyini dominated the final round of National Race Day at BIC, held over the weekend in Sakhir. Shaikh Salman clinched both races in the BIC 2,000cc Challenge while Almuyini swept through the sprints in the Bahrain Superbike Championship (BSBK) and the Bahrain Motorcycle Racing (BMR) 600. Titles to be decided in National Race Day final round at BIC on Friday

An exciting final round of National Race Day is set for this Friday at BIC in Sakhir, “The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East”. Four of the kingdom’s most competitive circuit racing series will be getting into the action along BIC’s 2.55-kilometre Inner Track. Ricciardo wins in China

Daniel Ricciado claimed a sensational victory today for Red Bull Racing in this year’s Chinese Grand Prix at Shanghai International Circuit. After starting from sixth, the Australian brilliantly overtook the best of his rivals midway through the race including teammate Max Verstappen, defending World champion Lewis Hamilton and championship leader Sebastian Vettel. Najashi Rashdan and Abdulla Buhindi were among the newly crowned champions following the fifth and final round of the 2017/2018 Bahrain Karting Sprints Championship (BKSC).
