“I am very pleased to get this victory tonight,” Alkandari said. “It was also my very first pole position, so today was quite special.” Saleh Alkandari
Al Kooheji had a rough start to the evening but bounced back brilliantly to take his fifth win oaf the season. He ended Race Two 1.276secs ahead of Ali, while Alkandari claimed a close third 1.896secs behind.
“It wasn’t my day. Unfortunately, I crashed on the sighting lap. We were able to fix the bike but it never felt the same. I was struggling a lot in and then my engine seized. I was lent a replacement bike for Race Two, but I had to start from last position. I managed to battle through the field and get the hard-earned win. Husssain Al Kooheji”
