The roaming performers entertaining the crowd at the Formula 1 2018 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix will be spreading the joy all day long throughout the three-day weekend.
The acts range from musicians and comic acts to circus performers and dancers.
All that and so much more will be on hand at the highly anticipated Grand Prix spectacle, happening April 6 to 8 at “The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East” in Sakhir.
Following are brief descriptions of some of the roaming acts:
The Horn Show: This is a funny, eye-catching musical performance, with 22 different chromatically tuned bulb horns firmly attached all over his body that consist of an extensive repertoire of rock, pop, jazz, folkloric, Latino and blues. His music is a mixture of various classic evergreen tunes, combined with balance, juggling, dance, slapstick and a loop-station for a bass ukulele.
Morf: Morf is a complete vocal-looper who uses nothing but his voice and an array of effect/loop units to create full songs live on the spot. Providing an interactive and fully enjoyable show for audiences of all ages, Morf aims to show what the human voice is fully capable of.
Simone Solazzo: A multi-instrumentalist, composer and performer from Tuscany, Italy, his solo show is a unique performance in which he masters multiple stringed instruments including Oud, Saz, Setar, Santur, Esraj, Sitar, Sarod, along with Guitar, Violin and Synthesizers, using an advanced live looping technique to create complex compositions and soundscapes.
Funny Faces: Funny Faces presents interactive walkabout acts that include mysterious, fantastic and witty creatures. Their vibrant colours and bubbly characters have made thousands happy. Funny Faces love to mingle with the crowds, take selfies and share their bubbly personalities.
Mr. Hoy: Mr. Hoy has been performing his funny walkabout characters all over the world for the past decade. With roots firmly in the Mime Clown tradition, he uses theater, physical comedy and contemporary clown skills to engage his audience.
The Duo: They comprise of two experts in classical guitars, established in 2011 in London. Their passion for the guitar more specifically for the Spanish and south American repertoire contributes; to the formation of the Duo. They have played the guitars since childhood and studied individually and as a guitar duo.
Stribe Tribe Dream Circus: Joyful, stripy-turquoise and courageous: that is what Stribe Tribe Dream Circus is all about. Indulge yourself in the wild nature of the dance as well as in the various types of juggling performed in unconventional and extra ordinary choreographies. Hula hoops, acrobats and hypnotising buugengs are awaiting just for you.
