Only 30 days remain from Friday (March 20) until Formula One’s biggest stars line up on the grid at Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) for the biggest night race of the season.
The 57-lap Formula One Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix will be the highlight of the three-day race weekend happening April 17-18-19 at “The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East” in Sakhir.
Scheduled for a 6pm start, the Bahrain Grand Prix is set to be a brilliant visual spectacle under BIC’s state-of-the-art floodlighting system, and motor racing fans all over the world are being invited to “Light Up Your Nights” with a serene desert atmosphere as the backdrop.
The Bahrain Grand Prix will be the fourth round of the 2015 FIA Formula One World Championship. It will be the Kingdom’s second night race, and it promises plenty of excitement for race-goers both on and off the track.
How to get tickets?
Tickets to the Bahrain Grand Prix can be purchased at the BIC stands in Bahrain City Centre and Seef Mall. They can also be bought online at www.bahraingp.com or by calling the BIC Hotline on +973-17-450000.
The cost ranges from BD150 apiece for seating along BIC’s Main Grandstand to BD60 each for seats on BIC’s University or Victory Grandstands. Tickets are also be purchased for seating along the Batelco Grandstand for BD120 apiece, as well as the Turn One Grandstand for BD100 per ticket.
Discounts are available for certain groups.
Children aged three to 12 years old can get 50 per cent off on a ticket, while school students aged 13 to 17 years old can get a 25 per cent discount. University students can get 10 per cent off, while senior citizens aged 60 and above along with people with special needs can get 25per cent discount.
