BIC, “The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East”, welcomed to its Sakhir facility a group of students from St Christopher’s Junior School.
They were welcomed by a team of staff from BIC’s Media and Public Relations Department.
The youngsters were taken on a tour of the world-class venue, including trips to the iconic Sakhir Tower, the Race Control Tower and the Media Centre.
They were also brought out onto the track where they got to experience first-hand the venue the world’s best drivers will be racing on at the upcoming Formula 1 2018 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix.
At the end of their visit, each student was given a goodie bag, which included gifts and promotional material for the Formula 1 race weekend.
The visit was part of BIC’s promotional activities leading up to the highly anticipated Bahrain Grand Prix weekend, which is scheduled to take place between April 6 to 8 in Sakhir. The youngsters were given all sorts of details on the Grand Prix.
It is also a part of BIC’s objectives of keeping close ties with members of the community, especially youngsters.
