Bahrain International Circuit continues to bring plenty of intense motorsport action to fans as it hosts another thrilling edition of National Racing Day this Friday May 13 in Sakhir.
Taking place will be the sixth round of the Bahrain Superbike Championship (BSBK) and round four of the Bahrain Motorcycle Racing (BMR) 600.
Both events will be the season finale for each series.
Action will be held along BIC’s 2.55-kilometre Inner track. Racing is scheduled to begin at 4.20pm and continue all the way into the night.
Following each category’s practices and qualifying, their two races will be held under BIC’s state-of-the-art floodlighting system.
The BMR 600 first race is scheduled to flag off at 6.59pm, to be followed by BSBK race one at 7.35pm. BMR 600 race two will then begin at 8.19pm, after which will be BSBK race two at 8.55pm.
All four sprints will be held over 11 laps each.
Riders will be coming from all over the Gulf, Europe and Asia to compete in Friday’s meeting. Those in the BSBK will be battling it out on identical Ducati 899 Panigale sports bikes, while in the BMR 600, the field will be competing on identical 600cc Honda Hornet bikes.
The podium ceremony honouring all of the round’s winners will then take place following the racing.
