The cool desert nights are set to heat up with action this week as the second round of the 2016/2017 Bahrain Drag Racing Championship takes place at Bahrain International Circuit.
BIC’s world-class quarter-mile drag strip will be the centre of attention for more than 100 of the world’s top drag racers and their crews, including some of the most legendary figures in the sport, as they gather for four nights of intense competition.
Action begins with back-to-back nights of Test and Tune on Tuesday and Wednesday (Editor’s note: December 20 and 21) from 5pm to 11pm on each day.
Qualifying will follow on Thursday (December 22) from 5pm to midnight, paving the way for Race Day on Friday (December 23) when the head-to-heads begin from 2pm onwards.
All are welcome to attend the second round. Tickets can be purchased at the gate.
Tickets to the Test and Tune cost BD2 apiece for each night. For Qualifying and Race Day, tickets are BD5 for both days at the Start Line Grandstand, while tickets are BD3 for both days at the Batelco Grandstand. Children aged up to 12 years old can attend for half the price.
