As the temperatures begin to cool down in Bahrain, the intensity keeps rising at Bahrain International Karting Circuit ahead of the upcoming CIK-FIA Karting World Championship and CIK-FIA Karting Junior World Championship.

Teams participating in the event have begun arriving in the kingdom to begin their final preparations.

The prestigious Commission Internationale de Karting (CIK) meeting takes place November 17 to 19 as part of the Bahrain Motorsport Festival. The karting is a part of the three-day event, which is a first-of-its-kind hosted and organised by Bahrain International Circuit.

Team members from several of the world’s top karting outfits are among those already in Bahrain. They have begun setting up and testing their racing machinery ahead of the highly competitive worlds.

Containers filled with team equipment have been shipped to Bahrain from Adria Karting Raceway in Italy. Teams were previously in Adria for the WSK Final Cup held last October.

At present, 148 karters from all over the world are provisionally entered to compete at the festival. Forty-eight are entered in the world championship, while the other 100 are in the junior world championship. Participants will be driving in OK and OK-Junior karts.
