Record level of ticket sales for the upcoming 2015 Formula 1™ Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix.
BIC Chief Executive Shaikh Salman bin Isa Al Khalifa revealed that ticket sales have reached an all-time high compared to previous years’ levels with 60 days to go before the Bahrain Grand Prix.
He added that BIC’s 10,500-capacity Main Grandstand is almost half sold-out, providing a clear illustration of the growing excitement surrounding the highly anticipated desert night race.
Shaikh Salman made these announcements at a Press conference held this evening in Paddock Six at the BIC premises in Sakhir.
“We are delighted to announce that our ticket sales have reached an all-time high at this point in time before the Bahrain Grand Prix,
“Our Early Bird promotion, which ran for two months and offered up to 20% discount on certain tickets, ended this past week, and the response we received was tremendous.
“Interest in motorsport is growing in our part of the world, in particular for Formula 1™. The significant jump in our ticket sales compared to years past is a clear indication of how far we have come as a motorsport-loving nation.” Shaikh Salman
