The prestigious endurance racing event takes centre stage November 20 and 21 at Bahrain International Circuit. It will be the eighth and final round of the 2015 FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) season.
Bahrain is the WEC’s exclusive destination in the entire region. This gives race fans a special taste of the spirit of the legendary 24 Heures du Mans, which is widely accepted to be one of the world’s biggest and most challenging races while also being the blue riband event of the annual WEC calendar.
A number of globally renowned drivers will be taking to the track, including ex-Formula One stars such as Mark Webber, Sebastien Buemi, Anthony Davidson, Vitantonio Liuzzi and Nick Heidfeld, to name a few. There are also a number of talented gentleman drivers competing, such as ex-Grey’s Anatomy star Patrick Dempsey.
The 2015 FIA WEC Six Hours of Bahrain will be Bahrain’s fourth year hosting the endurance challenge and it will mark only the second time BIC is staging the championship finale. The first was in 2013.
