Max Verstappen set the fastest lap in the third and final practice session of the 2017 Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix

The Red Bull Racing ace registered a best lap of one minute 32.194 seconds around BIC’s 5.412-kilomere Grand Prix track.

Lewis Hamilton of Mercedes was second on the classification just 0.110 seconds slower, while Sebastian Vettel of Ferrari, who had set the pace in the first two practices, this time had to settle for third with a fastest lap 0.556s off the leading pace.

Practice three now paves the way for Qualifying, scheduled for a 6pm start.
