Ferrari erased any doubts about their pace heading into Sunday’s 2016 Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix after setting the pace in Practice 3 today at Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir.
Sebastian Vettel led teammate Kimi Raikkonen to a one-two classification at the end of the hour-long session.
Vettel registered a best lap of 1 minute 31.683 seconds while Raikkonen followed a mere 0.040 seconds off the pace.
Nico Rosberg of Mercedes, who had topped the times in the first two practices on Friday, was ranked third 0.421s back. Teammate Lewis Hamilton was fourth 0.477s behind.
Williams’ Valtteri Bottas, Haas’ Romain Grosjean, Red Bulls Daniil Kvyat and Grosjean’s Haas teammate Esteban Gutierrez rounded out the top eight.
