One of Africa’s most notable acrobatic circus acts will be taking to the stage at the Formula 1 2018 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix.
“Cirque Africa: Hakuna Matata” is an amazing extravaganza of music, dance, comedy and acrobatic skill celebrating the strength, flexibility and agility of human bodies at their best.
It will be part of the many stage shows entertaining fans at the Formula 1 Village vending area during the three-day Grand Prix spectacle, taking place April 6 to 8 at BIC in Sakhir.
Colourful African costumes, catchy music and dance routines along with gravity-defying skills make Cirque Africa a first-rate show packed with fun and high energy, surely delighting the whole family.
The cast of 33 performing artists from six African countries includes dancers, musicians, acrobats and contortionists.
They perform jaw-dropping twists and turns, spin things with their feet, hang off bars, build human pyramids and even do flying stunts that will leave the audience in disbelief.
Cirque Africa is one of the many attractions to look forward to in the off-track family entertainment programme at the Bahrain Grand Prix weekend.
There will be many other things to enjoy, such as extreme rides, roaming performers, entertainment exclusively for kids, and an F1 Fanzone where fans can have a first-hand taste of some of the many things that go on the track and in the pit lane in Formula 1.
