In 2004, Bahrain became the first country in the region to host Formula 1. Over the last 18 years, the circuit has delivered some of the iconic moments of modern-day F1, from the duel in the desert in 2014 to the thrilling opener of 2021, Bahrain consistently delivers a spectacle under the desert night sky.

Featuring five different track layouts, the circuit first saw life in 2004 when the first ever Formula 1 Grand Prix took place in the country, making it the first-ever track in the Middle East to host the Formula 1 World Championship.
