Batelco Fitness on Track brings fun physical activity to BIC Tuesday night
Bahrain International Circuit’s (BIC) widely popular fitness activity, Batelco Fitness on Track, returns on Tuesday evening (17 January) for another chance to get a workout in within the unique setting of a world-class motorsport facility.
Members of the public will have the opportunity to break a sweat alongside family members and friends either on foot or on a bicycle in a safe and controlled environment.
Tuesday’s Fitness on Track is scheduled from 6pm to 10pm under BIC’s state-of-the-art floodlights, making for a stunning experience that is both casual and fun while also beneficial for one’s physical fitness.
The running and cycling will take place on separate track layouts. Runners and walkers will be utilising BIC’s 2.550-kilometre Inner Track, while cyclists will be able to ride their bikes along the 3.543-kilometre Outer circuit, with a dedicated area for children’s cycling.
As in every Batelco Fitness on Track activity, the turnout has been tremendous from the local community, with individuals and groups of all ages taking part to keep physically active.
Those interested in participating are therefore advised to book online in advance on BIC’s official website bahraingp.com or by calling the BIC Hotline on +973-17450000.
All who register must pay upon booking. The cost to take part is BD2 for cyclists and BD1 for runners. Those under the age of 12 can participate for free if accompanied by a paying adult.
