BIC hosts special event for female staff in celebration of Bahraini Women’s Day

BIC hosts special event for female staff in celebration of Bahraini Women’s Day

Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), “The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East”, hosted today a special gathering for its female staff in celebration of Bahraini Women’s Day.

The event, which included a sumptuous meal, took place at one of BIC’s lounges along its Oasis Complex. BIC Chief Executive Shaikh Salman bin Isa Al Khalifa attended, along with BIC Chief Operating Officer Fayez Ramzy Fayez, BIC Chief Commercial Officer Sherif Al Mahdy, BIC Corporate Services Director Beshara Abdu Beshara, BIC Administration Director Abdulrahman Qarata, and BIC Human Resources Manager Nawaf Shaheen, as well as the circuit’s talented women.

To mark the occasion, Shaikh Salman commented: “As we celebrate Bahraini Women’s Day, I thank all of our female team members for their tireless efforts, and I commend them for the role they play as ambassadors of BIC to the motorsport world.

“I am tremendously proud that we have so many women working across the various departments at the circuit. Their individual and collective input, dedication and talent sits at the heart of what BIC stands for and what we have achieved over the years.

“I wish all our female team members a very happy and blessed Bahraini Women’s Day.”

The event commemorating Bahraini Women’s Day is just one of the many appreciation activities held by BIC for its staff throughout the year. It is also part of the circuit’s ongoing commitment to promoting equality and diversity in motorsport, as well as in the local community.
