BIC offers thrill of driving a Formula 1 circuit in Orange Media Open Track this Saturday

Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) is offering motorsport fans the incredible experience of driving a world-famous grand prix race track in its hugely popular Orange Media Open Track activity, taking place this Saturday (13 January) in Sakhir.

Participants will be able to bring their very own road cars or motorbikes and take them out for a spin at “The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East”.

Saturday’s event will be held along BIC’s 5.412-kilometre Grand Prix circuit—the same raced on by the biggest stars in the world such as in Formula 1 and the World Endurance Championship.

Orange Media Open Track is one of the most highly attended offerings at BIC, giving speed enthusiasts the chance to satisfy their craving for an adrenaline-pumping thrill. All this, while having the peace of mind to push their vehicle to its limit within a safe and controlled environment.

Driver etiquette is of ultimate importance in every Orange Media Open Track activity, so there is no close or aggressive overtaking permitted. Overtaking is by invitation between corners and driving is monitored, with poor or dangerous driving being dealt with swiftly by officials.

The cost to take part in Saturday’s Orange Media Open Track, when booked in advance, is BD82.500 for the full day, BD55 for the half day and BD22 for a single session. Prices for booking on the day itself are BD93.500 for the full day, BD66 for the half day and BD27.500 for a single session.

Instructor sessions are also available at an extra cost, while additional drivers and passengers can also participate for a fee.
