BIC opens The Avenues stand ahead of F1 Bahrain Grand Prix 2019

Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), “The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East”, announced today the opening of its stand at The Avenues Bahrain, as the days count down to the highly anticipated Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2019.

The sporting and entertainment extravaganza takes place over four days from March 28 to 31, with all those attending set for some “Limitless” fun and memories.

The stand is located next to Harbour Gate and will be open daily between 10am and 10pm. It is the latest location where fans can purchase
all sorts of BIC and Formula 1 merchandise and memorabilia, as well as tickets to this year’s Grand Prix spectacle.

The 57-lap sprint in the heart of the Sakhir desert will mark the 999th World Championship race in the history of the top flight. It is
being held as part of the circuit’s landmark 15th season and it will be the sixth time it is taking place under BIC’s state-of-the-art floodlights as a night race.

Aside from Formula 1, the weekend’s programme will also include racing from the FIA Formula 2 Championship and the Porsche GT3 Cup
Challenge Middle East, as well as loads of off-track attractions highlighted by the back-to-back live performances of Martin Garrix on the Friday of the event and Kygo on the Saturday.

Tickets for all four days for seating along the Main Grandstand are BD150 apiece. A Batelco Grandstand ticket for all four days costs BD120, but there are also two other options for Batelco Grandstand seats. For a ticket to Saturday and Sunday only, the cost is BD100, while for Friday only it is BD60. A four-day ticket to the Turn One Grandstand is BD100; whereas University and Victory Grandstand tickets are BD60 apiece.

It is worth noting that BIC has covered the Value Added Tax (VAT) on all Bahrain Grand Prix ticket prices, saving fans from any additional expense to attend the biggest sporting and social event of the year. The prices are also amongst the most competitive for any event on the Formula 1 calendar.
