BIC set for spectacular fireworks display on Friday night celebrating Kingdom’s National Day

BIC, Sakhir – Celebrating the Kingdom of Bahrain’s National Day, the anniversary of His Majesty the King’s Accession to the Throne, and the accompanying national events, Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) will be hosting a spectacular fireworks display this Friday (22 December) evening.

The brilliant show of lights and colour is scheduled for a 7pm start at “The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East”.

All are invited to enjoy the spectacle free of charge, which is one of the biggest fireworks displays held annually on the island. The fireworks will be illuminating the night sky above Sakhir and it can thus be enjoyed from BIC as well as from the surrounding area.

Ahead of the event, BIC has issued the following guidance to those planning on attending the fireworks:

• Spectators are advised to arrive early ahead of the 7pm start, in order to avoid delays due to the large crowds expected.
• Parking in BIC car parks will be available free of charge. Spectators should follow parking directions provided on arrival.
• Food vendors will be available in car parks for those coming to watch.
• Spectators can tune their radios to 107 FM for music synced to the show.
