BIC set for thrills on the strip with Kanoo Motors Rolling Drag Nights Thursday

BIC set for thrills on the strip with Kanoo Motors Rolling Drag Nights Thursday

An action-packed evening of fun, head-to-head drag racing awaits speed enthusiasts on Thursday (29 December) as Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) hosts the latest edition of the Kanoo Motors Rolling Drag Nights.

The quarter-mile drag strip at “The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East” is set to be packed with participants from Bahrain and all over the Gulf.

They will be going up against one another in their very own cars or motorbikes, which they will push to their limits down the world-class BIC strip, part of the Worldwide Network of the U.S.-based National Hot Rod Association (NHRA).

The activity is similar to BIC’s Ebrahim K Kanoo Drag and Drift Nights. The difference in Rolling Drag is that those taking part do not start from a standstill, but from a rolling speed of 80kph.

Rolling Drag is therefore the perfect activity to invite a friend to a one-on-one challenge within the safe and controlled environment at BIC.

Thursday’s Kanoo Motors Rolling Drag Nights is scheduled to take place between 7pm and 12midnight.

The cost to participate is BD22 for each driver or rider. Spectators can watch from the sidelines for a nominal entry fee of BD2.

Just as in every BIC activity, safety standards of the highest level are followed at all times during the evening’s events for both drivers and spectators alike.
