BIC takes part in Bahrain Sports Day 2020 activities

Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), “The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East”, organised on Tuesday a number of activities marking Bahrain Sports Day 2020.

Led by BIC Chief Executive Shaikh Salman bin Isa Al Khalifa, the circuit’s management, staff and guests took part in a series of events including cycling, walking and yoga, held at the BIC premises in Sakhir.

Meanwhile, held in cooperation with the Bahrain Motor Federation, there was plenty of excitement with Autocross taking place at BIC’s car park, as well as in karting at Bahrain International Karting Circuit.

All those who participated expressed their delight in being a part of Bahrain Sports Day 2020. They were among thousands from all across the Kingdom of Bahrain representing ministries, state departments, private companies, public and private schools, clubs, sports associations, youth centres, and many others to take part in all kinds of sports and physical activities to mark the annual occasion.

This year’s Bahrain Sports Day marked its fourth edition. It was held under the theme “Get Ready…Go!”

Bahrain Sports Day’s main objectives are to promote the “sports for all” concept and to raise awareness on the importance of sports for individuals and society.

BIC regularly organises similar worthwhile activities for its staff in an effort to develop camaraderie and promote health and wellness.
