Bortoleto puts Trident atop F3 practice timesheet
Gabriel Bortoleto set the quickest time in the season-opening practice session of the 2023 FIA Formula 3 Championship, taking place in support of this weekend’s Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix at Bahrain International Circuit.
The Trident driver had a top mark of one minute 47.775 seconds, marginally beating out Gabriele Mini of Hitech Pulse-Eight by 0.072s to the top of the timesheet. Gregoire Saucy of ART Grand Prix followed in third 0.191s back.
F3 return to the track for qualifying at 4pm, which will set the grid for tomorrow’s F3 Sprint Race.
