Burnout events set to light it up at BIC each week of Ramadan
Ramadan nights at Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) are set to heat up with action and intensity as “The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East” hosts its widely popular Burnout events throughout the holy month.
Traditionally held during this time of year, this high-octane offering attracts participants from far and wide, each of whom are determined to put on a fantastic show of rising white smoke for the massive crowds that turn out.
BIC has scheduled four Burnout nights this year. The first is set to be held this coming Saturday (9 April) along BIC’s Vehicle Dynamics Area.
The other events are set to take place on 14 April, 23 April and 30 April.
In each meeting, rregistration for participants and the scrutineering of their cars will be held from 3.30pm. Gates will open to the public at 7pm, and then the Burnout action starts at 8pm and continues until after midnight.
The participation fee is BD8 for each driver. Those who would like to join in on the excitement as a passenger can do so for BD5.5.
All entrants’ vehicles must meet specific eligibility criteria before being permitted to take part.
Spectators will be able to watch each event for BD2.
Burnout events are among the most highly participated at BIC, thus all those interested in participating are advised to register early.
