Colin Boenighausen stormed to victory from pole position today in race two of round one in the 2024/2025 Porsche Carrera Cup Middle East (PCCME) at Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), being held in support of the WEC 8 Hours of Bahrain, powered by Bapco Energies.

Boenighausen won the 12-lap sprint in 25 minutes 07.189 seconds and enjoyed a 2.458-second gap from runner-up Janne Stiak, who was the winner of the weekend’s first race on Friday.

James Wallis joined them on the podium after finishing 9.891s from Boenighausen in third.

The overall top three were also the leading finishers in the PCCME’s Pro class.

Saud Al Saud was the top man in the Pro Am category, while Mike Mim impressed with a fifth-place finish overall en route to winning the all-new Masters class.

The race wrapped up the PCCME’s events for the season-opening round at BIC.
