Formula 1 fans invited to enjoy grand prix excitement at Beyon Money BIC Fan Village this weekend at Block 338

Formula 1 fans looking to get in on the excitement ahead of the F1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2024 are invited to visit the Beyon Money BIC Fan Village this weekend at Block 338 in Adliya.

Put together by Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) and title partner Beyon Money, with the support of Bapco Energies, this colourful fan festival, which was inaugurated last week, is a celebration of motor racing’s top flight and its world-class entertainment programme held each year.

It aims to bring the spirit of the Kingdom’s grand prix closer to the public in the heart of Bahrain’s capital, and give them a small taste of what’s in store this 29 February to 2 March at “The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East”.

The F1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix will be the first of a record 24 rounds in the 2024 FIA F1 World Championship, and it will be celebrating “20 Years of a Modern Classic”, showcasing the Kingdom of Bahrain’s 20th anniversary in F1. The 57-lap main event will be held for the first time on a Saturday night, making for an additional spectacle under lights.

This weekend, the Beyon Money BIC Fan Village will be open from 1pm to 12am on both Friday and Saturday (23 and 24 February). It is also open from 6pm to 12am on weekdays. All are welcome and entrance is completely free of charge.

Schedules of the daily attractions are being published every day on BIC’s social media accounts.

The entertainment includes live performances from a huge mix of bands and DJs, Grand Prix activations such as racing simulators and show cars, a Beyon Money stand, a village market, roaming family entertainment, street artists, BIC sales and merchandise stand, a 20th anniversary showcase of BIC’s racing history, and so much more.

The fan festival is once again being held in partnership with Beyon Money, part of Beyon Group, which is a financial services super app, enabling customers to connect to their bank accounts, access financial insights to observe transactions and spending habits, use their prepaid card all over the world, and send money abroad instantly.

Bapco Energies, the integrated energy company leading the energy transition in the Kingdom of Bahrain, is also a support partner for the event.

Tickets to this year’s F1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix weekend have completely sold out for BIC’s grandstands. Fans who are hoping to be a part of the landmark occasion can still take advantage of two of BIC’s hospitality options, The Dome by F1 Experiences and The Champions Club. There is some availability in each, both of which offer exclusive experiences in an unmatched setting.

The Dome by F1 Experiences and The Champions Club are specially curated hospitality options created in cooperation with F1 Experiences for the most passionate of F1 enthusiasts.
