Get up close to the teams with the F1 Pit Lane Walk for all ticket holders on Thursday at BIC
Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), “The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East”, is inviting all ticket-holders to this weekend’s Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2022 to be a part of an exclusive F1 Pit Lane Walk on Thursday (17 March). The pit walk is scheduled for 6pm to 7.30pm and it is open at no extra cost.
This fan-favourite activity gives those attending a chance to see the F1 teams up close and in person as they work in their garages preparing for all the action happening Friday to Sunday (18 to 20 March) on track.
Fans will be able to take pictures and, if lucky, spot one of their favourite F1 drivers in their garage, working with their engineers and mechanics.
The pit walk has not been held the past two years, but BIC has brought it back for 2022, which is an extra special year for F1 following the sweeping new regulations put in place along with the introduction of the revolutionary design of the F1 car.
Tickets to the race weekend are selling fast, and those interested to join in on the biggest event in the Kingdom are urged to purchase theirs as soon as possible in order to be a part of Thursday’s pit walk.
Tickets can be bought online at BIC’s official website bahraingp.com or by calling the BIC Hotline on +973-17450000. They can also be purchased at the BIC stand at City Centre Bahrain.
This weekend’s Bahrain Grand Prix will have plenty of fantastic activities for fans. These include the Autograph Session on Saturday, where F1 fanatics will have the opportunity to meet their racing heroes in person.
It will be held from 12.30pm to 1.30pm next to the Main Stage at BIC’s F1 Village vending area.
There is also a loaded programme of off-track entertainment for the whole family to enjoy on all three days.
Moreover, BIC has lined up the back-to-back concerts on the Friday night of the Bahrain Grand Prix, with globally renowned DJs Don Diablo and Afrojack taking to the stage for separate live performances.
Meanwhile, F1 will be supported on the track by three highly competitive series, namely the FIA Formula 2 Championship, the FIA Formula 3 Championship and the Porsche Sprint Challenge Middle East.
Each category will be holding two races this race weekend making for a spectacular schedule of non-stop action all through the weekend. F2 and F3 are staging their season-opening rounds at BIC, while the Porsche Sprint Challenge is hosting its fifth and final meeting in their 2021/2022 campaign.
