New season of Batelco Fitness on Track launches this Tuesday at BIC

• New season to comprise 20 events for runners and cyclists of all abilities.

• New Season Pass available, offering major savings for regular participants

Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) is set to host the first of the season of its hugely popular Batelco Fitness on Track activity on Tuesday (Editor’s note: 3 October) night as the fan experiences continue to ramp up this 2023/2024 season.

Batelco Fitness on Track offers fitness enthusiasts of all ages and abilities the chance to workout within the unique and world-class setting at “The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East”. The activity can be done either on foot or on a bicycle in BIC’s safe and controlled environment.

Tuesday’s Batelco Fitness on Track is scheduled from 6pm to 10pm under the brilliance of BIC’s state-of-the-art floodlights. The running and cycling will take place on separate track layouts. Runners and walkers will be utilising BIC’s 2.550-kilometre Inner Track, while cyclists will be able to ride their bikes along the 3.543-kilometre Outer Circuit, with a another dedicated area for children’s cycling.

Batelco Fitness on Track generates tremendous interest from the local community and the turnout has been great from individual participants and large groups. Those looking to take part are therefore advised to book in advance online on BIC’s official website or by calling the BIC Hotline on +973-17450000.

All who register must pay upon booking. The cost to take part is BD2 for cyclists and BD1 for runners. Those under the age of 12 can participate for free if accompanied by a paying adult.

As a first for this year, BIC has also launched its Batelco Fitness on Track Season Pass. At just BD15, this allows regular participants access to all 20 events throughout the season, with the choice of either running or cycling for each event. The pass is a great way for regulars to save money over the course of the season. Season Passes can be purchased by contacting the BIC Hotline on 1745 0000.
