Pourchaire sets pace for ART Grand Prix in F2 practice
Theo Pourchaire led ART Grand Prix teammate Victor Martins to the top of the practice times in the FIA Formula 2 Championship, kicking off its 2023 season in support of the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix.
Pourchaire posted a quickest time of one minute 45.264 seconds on the board and had the slimmest of gaps of just 0.055s ahead of Martins by the end of the session.
Arthur Leclerc of DAMS came third 0.099s off the pace on the 22-car classification.
The F2 field returns to action for qualifying under lights this evening at 7.30pm.
