Roaming acts set to bring fun and laughter to F1 Bahrain GP 2020 at BIC

The Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2020 is set to bring together an eclectic mix of roaming acts, who will be entertaining fans throughout the four-day race weekend happening March 19 to 22 at Bahrain International Circuit (BIC).

Being amongst the most sought-after artists at BIC’s Formula 1 Village vending area, these colourful characters coming from all over the world include clowns, magicians, street and circus performers, and the like.

This year’s roster of much-beloved artists includes Pop the Balloonman, Katastrofa Clown, The Joker Entertainment group, Dr. Bubbles, Papito and Abraham Thill.

Pop the Balloon Man is a multi-award winning magician and balloon artist from Scotland. He is now a veteran of the Bahrain Grand Prix, having performed at the event the last four years. His work is just as incredible to adults as it is to children as his incredible skills with a couple of balloons and a balloon pump never fail to amaze.

Katastrofa Clown is a comedy show set to the rhythm of rock-and-roll, where the audience becomes an integral part of the act. The finale is a boxing match that will decide who will conquer the woman of their desires.

The Joker Entertainment group is a collection of funny and playful interactive clowns from the UK. They have travelled across Europe entertaining kids and the young-at-heart. Their acts include their fantastic circus skills, uni-cycling, juggling and stilt-walking, and they will definitely brighten up anybody’s day.

Dr. Bubbles is flamboyant character who comes up with colorful creations as the giant soap bubbles come in all shapes and sizes. These unique structures of water reflect the bright lights at BIC, making them shimmer in colours of a rainbow while awakening the “inner-child” in adults and bringing sparkling joy to all. Dr. Bubbles provides a spectacular show with modest, romantic bubbles synchronizing with the music evolving into a fantastic, wild, magical and impressive spectacle.

Papito presents a fresh and entertaining act with Latin rhythms, as he dances with happiness and constant surprise. Out of a chest come two chairs and a variety of objects with which an uncommon relationship is established, with a special objective of warming the hearts of the people.

Abraham Thill is a professional street- and circus-performer. He has been performing since 1999, and his is an energy-packed street show including clowning, pantomime, comedy, object- and subject-manipulations, improvisations, magic and extraordinary, mind-blowing Diabolo skills.
