Roaming acts to engage with fans in fun, family-friendly atmosphere at F1 Bahrain GP 2022 at BIC

BIC, Sakhir – Magicians, dancers, musical acts and all kinds of unique performers complete the roaming entertainment line-up at the fast-approaching Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2022, taking place this 18 to 20 March at Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) in Sakhir.

These entertainers from around the world are all part of the family-friendly off-track programme that awaits fans attending this year’s highly anticipated race weekend, which will have a vibrant, festival-like atmosphere on all three days at BIC’s F1 Village vending area.

The colourful and charming roaming characters who will be engaging with fans and putting a smile on everyone’s faces include Katastrofa Clown, Papito, Pop the Balloon Man, Toy Brigade, The Eccentrics and Travelling Fun Fair.

Katastrofa Clown is a comedy show set to the rhythm of rock-and-roll, where the audience becomes an integral part of the act.

Papito is a fresh and entertaining act with Latin rhythms, who dances with happiness and constant surprise, and warms the hearts of the people with his performances.

Pop the Balloon Man is an award-winning magician and balloon artist, who is a veteran of the Bahrain Grand Prix and is a fan-favourite amongst race-goers. His work is just as incredible to adults as it is to children, as his incredible skills with a couple of balloons and a balloon pump never fail to amaze.

Toy Brigade is a team of toys that have become life-sized! They include pretty dolls and toy soldiers, and they parade majestically to the awe of spectators.

The Eccentrics are bearers of joy—sometimes naughty, sometimes teasing and always mocking. Their mission is to spread humour and make people fidget with laughter.

Travelling Fun Fair is a parade of wandering acts and attractions including games, puppeteers, magicians and more, who will put on magnificent performances and inimitable charm!

All these much-beloved artists join the other roaming performers including Abraham Thill, Aras Stilt Band, the Joker group, Colour Dancers, Dr Bubbles, Funky Style Band and Jam Batucada at the upcoming Bahrain Grand Prix.

To add to the roaming acts, BIC’s spectacular entertainment programme will be highlighted by the back-to-back concerts on the Friday night of the race weekend, 18 March, when globally renowned DJs Don Diablo and Afrojack will take to the stage for separate live performances.

There will also be all kinds of other fan experiences along BIC’s F1 Village, as well as exciting carnival rides, a kids’ entertainment zone and plenty more!
