Roaming performers to bring energy and colour to festival-like atmosphere off the track at F1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2024
Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) is set to showcase its biggest-ever off-track entertainment programme at this weekend’s Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2024, and a major part of the attractions will be the colourful roaming performers.
This army of walk-around artists, coming from all corners of the globe, is set to brighten up the atmosphere at “The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East” this Thursday to Saturday (29 February to 2 March).
Among the roaming entertainers are the Puglia Street Band, Carnival de Colores, AJ Batucada, TikTak Marionettes, Stevie Wheels and Juggling Dom.
The grand prix weekend is the season-opening round of the 2024 FIA F1 World Championship, and it is set to be an extra-special occasion as the Kingdom of Bahrain celebrates “20 Years of a Modern Classic”, marking its milestone 20th anniversary in motor racing’s top flight.
The spectacle will also be the first-ever F1 Saturday night race at BIC, and it promises to be a record-breaking event, with tickets to BIC’s grandstands having already completely sold out.

All those attending will be able to revel in the excitement, with plenty of high-octane racing throughout all three days complemented by the festival-like atmosphere in BIC’s vending area.
Puglia Street Band will bring spectators on a musical journey like never before. This young and dynamic group will infect with beats and cause an explosion of energy, bringing a fusion of tradition and modern flair for an electrifying experience.
Carnival de Colores is set to dazzle race-goers, with their captivating dances and rhythmic moves performed in radiant costumes. It will be a visual feast that transcends the ordinary—a kaleidoscope of colors, feathers, and sequins that transform every step into a radiant celebration!
AJ Batucada will be giving an energetic show, drumming up a storm and feeling the rhythm of celebration.
The TikTak Marionettes will shine brightly wherever they roam, creating beautiful choreographies that will invite fans to join in the fun. This magical display of light and movement will turn the vending area into a dance floor, sparking joy and getting everyone moving.
Stevie Wheels will be showcasing intricate bike tricks, complemented by the charm of juggling hats and a messenger bag filled with surprises. His wheelie stunts gracefully push the limits of his distinctive bike, leading to an unexpected transformation into a unicycle, while orchestrating a nuanced interplay between skillful maneuvers, nerve-testing acts, and a clever utilisation of his hat.
Juggling Dom will be bringing smiles with interactive tricks that will captivate audiences, especially the young. This delightful show offers kids a chance to join in on the excitement, and be a part of a playful performance.

There will also be live musical performances by world-renowned industry icons, including a Friday night concert by multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning artist Zedd, and a post-race, Saturday night concert by superstar DJ and producer Diplo.
