Have you ever wondered how fast you and your car can go? Of course, you have. Now you can find out thanks to the Bahrain International Circuit’s OpenTrack Car days.

All you need to make your dream come true is a roadworthy car in good condition, without leaks or body damage, and an internationally recognised driver’s licence.

Your action-packed day will begin at 08:00 when you register. (Here drivers will be divided into groups: novice, intermediate or advanced.) Then your car’s suitability will be assessed. During a 20-minute driving techniques-and-safety briefing you will be informed of the track’s rules and procedures. Instructors will explain what each coloured flag and light signal means, and what you should do in the event of a mechanical failure.

The track will open at 09:00 and instructors will lead you round for three laps in order that you can familiarise yourself with the straights and corners.

After that, barring a one-hour lunch break, the track is yours until 17:00.

Depending on the number of registered participants OpenTrack Car days will either run with an open pit lane, with drivers free to come and go as they please, or divided into 20-minute sessions.

Crash helmets will be provided.

Extra tuition is available at extra cost.

Half-days run from either 9:00-12:30 or 13:30-16:00.
