BIC and Beyon sign partnership agreement on sidelines of Gateway Gulf 2026

2 November 2026

Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), ‘The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East’, and Beyon Group announced the signing of a new partnership agreement, further strengthening their long-standing partnership spanning more than two decades, with Beyon continuing its role as a Lead Partner of BIC.

The agreement was signed, in the presence of H.E. Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Beyon Group, by BIC Chief Executive Shaikh Salman bin Isa Al Khalifa and Beyon Group Chief Executive Officer Andrew Kvaalseth, during a ceremony held on the sidelines of Gateway Gulf 2026 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Manama, attended by senior officials from both organisations.

As a Lead Partner, Beyon plays a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of BIC’s leading events and experiences throughout the year. Through its prominent permanent brand presence across the circuit’s facilities, hospitality opportunities and naming rights to a number of key events and experiences, Beyon benefits from the extensive international exposure generated by the circuit, which hosts more than 420 events annually.

Among these events is the Beyon Fan Village, held annually to coincide with the start of activities for the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix. Its most recent edition attracted more than 50,000 visitors to Block 338 in Adliya.

Beyon also continues its role as a supporting partner of the WEC Bapco Energies 8 Hours of Bahrain, part of the World Endurance Championship, one of the world’s leading endurance racing championships. Bahrain will retain its established position as the championship’s season finale in 2027, with the world’s leading car manufacturers competing for the championship title. Through this partnership, Beyon continues to benefit from the championship’s growing popularity and increasing participation, as it remains one of the highlights of Bahrain’s international motorsport calendar.

Through Batelco, Beyon also continues its role as a leading partner of Batelco Fitness on Track, a widely popular programme at BIC that encourages participation in sporting activities and promotes health and fitness in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Held several times each month throughout the season, the programme provides runners and cyclists with a safe and affordable environment in which to exercise on Bahrain’s iconic Formula 1 circuit.

One of BIC’s main grandstands also bears the Beyon name as part of the partnership agreement between the two organisations. Located within the modern Oasis Complex, the Beyon Grandstand offers outstanding views of the inner sections of the circuit, including the inner straight and the support race pit lane. It is a popular location for spectators to enjoy the motorsport competitions hosted at the Sakhir venue throughout the season.

On this occasion, Beyon Group Chief Executive Officer Andrew Kvaalseth affirmed that BIC had played a pivotal role in strengthening the Kingdom of Bahrain’s position on the global stage. He expressed pride in the partnership between the two organisations, which has extended for more than two decades and continued to evolve alongside the circuit’s development, expanding beyond motorsport to support events and initiatives that bring different segments of the community together and enhance the Kingdom’s international profile.

He added that renewing the partnership reflects the strong alignment between the two organisations and their shared ambitions for the Kingdom of Bahrain. He reaffirmed their commitment to building on their achievements and continuing to support BIC in delivering world-class events and experiences for audiences in Bahrain and around the world.

For his part, BIC Chief Executive Shaikh Salman bin Isa Al Khalifa expressed pride in renewing the partnership with Beyon Group, one of Bahrain’s leading institutions, which has provided continuous support to the circuit for more than two decades. He affirmed that the partnership strengthens BIC’s ability to deliver exceptional experiences for fans throughout the year, expressing appreciation for the continued cooperation between the two organisations.

He noted that the partnership has continued to develop over the years, supporting BIC’s efforts to showcase the Kingdom of Bahrain’s strengths and capabilities on the international stage through the events and activities it hosts. He also highlighted the important role of Beyon’s advanced technology infrastructure at the circuit over more than two decades, which has contributed to the seamless and efficient delivery of major international events and enabled BIC to meet the advanced requirements of clients and customers from around the world.

Shaikh Salman bin Isa Al Khalifa expressed his appreciation for Beyon’s continued support for motorsport in the Kingdom of Bahrain, reaffirming his commitment to maintaining the partnership in a manner that serves the mutual interests of both organisations.
