BIC calls on fans to enjoy final two days of Beyon Money F1 Village ahead of Bahrain GP weekend

Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) is inviting the general public to enjoy the final two days of the Beyon Money F1 Village and take in the vibrant, festival-like experience that is a preview of what awaits all those attending this weekend’s Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix.

The Beyon Money F1 Village is a first-of-its-kind, fan-engagement zone located in the heart of the Kingdom’s capital at Block 338 in Adliya.

It has been welcoming visitors since the beginning of this month and the turnout has been tremendous, with scores of visitors every day enjoying all that there is to offer.

The Beyon Money F1 Village has been set up by BIC, in cooperation with Beyon Money, to bring closer to race fans the excitement of the much-anticipated F1 weekend, which takes place this Friday to Sunday (18 to 20 March) at “The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East” in Sakhir.

The Beyon Money F1 Village will be open on Wednesday and Thursday (16 and 17 March) for its last two evenings from 6pm to 11pm. All are welcome and entry is free of charge.

There is a host of motorsport and Bahrain-themed attractions, including a 2022 F1 car display, a main stage with daily live music performances together with DJs, roaming performers, street artists and plenty of other colourful attractions for the whole family.

Please note that the Esports, Pic Stop and World Championship trophy are now being set up at BIC for the race weekend, so will not be available for the last two days, however additional entertainment has been put on for these areas.

Visitors are also able to experience a number of special Bahrain Craft stands showcasing the very best of Bahrain modern and traditional craft.

The entire fan zone is being supported by Beyon Money, which is using the event to highlight how payments and lifestyle are seamlessly connected. Beyon Money is the new financial super app, connecting banks, providing cards and payments services, financial insights and remittances.

Fans can also experience a special activation at the Beyon Money stand inside the F1 Village with social media engagement and entertainment such as a 360-degree photo booth and digital interactive screen, as well as having the opportunity to engage with promoters who will be on hand to explain the Beyon Money App functionalities and instantly onboard customers.

This year’s Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix is set to be a once-in-a-lifetime occasion for motorsport, as it ushers in “A New Era” in F1 following the introduction of sweeping new regulations in the top flight.

Tickets to the race weekend can be purchased online at BIC’s official website bahraingp.com or by calling the BIC Hotline on +973-17-450000. Tickets are also available at the BIC stand in City Centre Bahrain or at the sales tent located at Sakhir Petrol Station en route to the circuit.
