BIC launches ticketholder competition for exclusive pre-race grid walk at FIA WEC double-header

BIC launches ticketholder competition for exclusive pre-race grid walk at FIA WEC double-header

Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) has launched an exciting competition through its Instagram account for fans to win the opportunity to be a part of an exclusive pre-race grid walk at the upcoming FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) double-header. This ‘money can’t buy’ opportunity is the first time BIC has offered such an experience for race fans through a competition.

The competition is open to all ticket-holders to this weekend’s Bapco 6 Hours of Bahrain or to the Bapco 8 Hours of Bahrain taking place November 5 and 6.

The pre-race grid walk will be a fantastic opportunity to get as close to the race cars, drivers and teams as possible just moments before they battle it out in the endurance racing spectacle. It will be held along the Main Straight of BIC’s 5.412-kilometre track, between the Main Grandstand and the WEC teams’ Pit Lane, giving the winners an unbelievable vantage point usually only experienced by those competing in the sport.

All they have to do is comment on the competition’s post on BIC’s Instagram page (@bah_int_circuit) and mention the friend or family member they would like to take with them on the grid walk.

The winners will be selected randomly. Three pairs of passes will be up for grabs for each race weekend, giving race-goers plenty of chances to win.

Tickets are now available for the Bapco 6 Hours of Bahrain on Friday and Saturday at just BD5 for adults (BD8 for both WEC events) and BD2.5 for children aged 3 to 12 years old (BD4 for both events). Kids under three are free, whilst there are also further discounts available for students, those with special needs and senior citizens.

Ticket prices offer one of the most affordable ways to witness a World Championship motorsport event. Full details are available at bahraingp.com.

Spectator entry policy for the races will be in line with the Kingdom of Bahrain’s prevailing COVID-19 traffic light system. Under the current green conditions, entry is permitted to all. However, should the traffic light status change, entry restrictions will be in place in line with Government direction.
