Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), “The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East”, has lined up a fantastic roster of world-class performers as part of the off-track entertainment at the upcoming Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2020.
BIC’s Formula 1 Village vending area is set to be the stomping ground for the eclectic mix of artists from all across the globe.
Among the most notable will be the teams of talented musicians who will be helping set the vibrant family atmosphere at the circuit. They include Funky Style Band from Italy, Papaya Jam from Spain and Aras Stilt Band from Germany, and are certain to get the crowds moving to their beats.
Funky Style Band is an innovative marching band that maintains a union between sound and movement, but reinterprets it in a unique way.
They have eye-catching uniforms and they play and dance with the grit and enthusiasm typical of a respectable street band, but without forgetting the elegance of the Italian funky style.
Papaya Jam are a young and talented batucada ensemble from Spain. They perform a fusion of rhythm, taste, colour and dance through Brazilian and Latin American sounds.
A musical explosion that will take you to different places, fans will feel the freshness of the movements and the beats of the drum, and they will be surprised with the effects.
Papaya Jam was launched in 2015, from the district of Santa Eugènia de Ter in the city of Girona in Spain, and they offer a fresh, artistic and visual spectacle ideal for all types of events.
Aras Stilt Band is a combination between one of the best groups of percussions and and stilt-walkers in Germany.
Their colorful outstanding costumes with big wings and their beautiful music make them one of the most appreciated in Europe, inspired by the Aras colorful bird from the rain forest. Their trademark is their great joy of playing, which makes the spark jump to the audience. They have attended lots of festivals in Germany, France, Romania, China and Russia, to name a few.
These artists and so many more are set to entertain the crowd at the upcoming Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix, taking place March 19 to 22 in Sakhir.
Tickets to the Bahrain Grand Prix are selling fast and all those excited to attend are advised to purchase theirs as soon as possible.
Fans who purchase a Main Grandstand ticket on or before March 7 will have a chance to take home a pair of Formula 1 Paddock Club three-day passes worth almost US$10,000 in an exciting new raffle. This is the first time this prestigious prize has ever been offered for the Bahrain Grand Prix.
Those who have already secured their Main Grandstand seats have also already been entered automatically.
A four-day Main Grandstand ticket costs BD150 apiece, while a Batelco Grandstand ticket for all four days is BD120. There are also Batelco Grandstand tickets for only Saturday and Sunday priced at BD100 apiece; and also Friday-only tickets at BD60 each. Furthermore, a four-day ticket to the Turn One Grandstand costs BD100; whereas University and Victory Grandstand four-day tickets are BD60 apiece.
