BIC to host One Lap Challenge on Saturday in support of Race Against Dementia charity
Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), ‘The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East’, is all set to host a special event to support Race Against Dementia, a charity founded by three-time Formula 1 World Champion Sir Jackie Stewart OBE. The One Lap Challenge, organised by The British Embassy in Bahrain and supported by BIC and the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), takes place Saturday (5 April) morning in Sakhir.
Fans will be able to walk, run, or scoot around BIC’s iconic grand prix track to help raise money for Race Against Dementia. All those interested to take part can gather their family and friends to help support this vital charity. Pre-registration is essential as slots are limited. This can be done on the BOC website https://teambahrain.bh/race-against-dementia/
The cost to take part is BD5 per person for those aged over 13 and BD2 for all aged 13 and under.
BIC’s gates are scheduled to open at 8.15am on Saturday, and a live viewing of the Japanese Grand Prix qualifying session will be available at 9am. The on-track lap begins at 10.15am and runs until 11.40am.
Water will be provided and food trucks will be available at BIC before and after the event.
