Boenighausen sets PCCME second practice pace
Colin Boenighausen set the fastest lap in the second free practice this afternoon in round one of the 2024/2025 Porsche Carrera Cup Middle East (PCCME), taking place in support of the WEC 8 Hours of Bahrain, powered by Bapco Energies at Bahrain International Circuit (BIC).
Boenighausen posted a time of two minutes 03.386 seconds in the session, going 0.817s quicker than Khaled Alahmadi.
Angus Whiteside completed the overall top three with a mark 0.963s off the leading pace.
Boenighausen was also the top finisher amongst the PCCME’s Pro drivers, while Alahmadi led the ProAm field.
Topping the times amongst the Masters participants was Petr Brecka with a best lap of 2:05.030.
The day’s events in the PCCME have now been completed and the runners will be back in action on Friday for qualifying at 11.10am followed by the weekend’s first of two races at 5.45pm.
