Drag racing enthusiasts can enjoy an action-packed evening out on the strip with the E K Kanoo Drag and Drift Night at Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) on Monday (February 18).
The highly popular event will give participants the chance to take their very own cars or motorbikes and push them to their limit in a safe and controlled environment. BIC’s quarter-mile drag racing strip is amongst the most technically advanced in the world, and it is a member of the prestigious National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) Worldwide Network.
Drag enthusiasts can take part for a nominal entry fee of BD7.500. Registration can be done on site from 6pm, and the action will be held from 7pm to 12midnight.
Those who would like to experience the drag racing as a passenger can get into a participant’s car for an additional BD4. Spectators can purchase tickets for BD2 apiece.
Also as a part of the drag racing programme, BIC is offering the immensely thrilling Dragster Xperience. This is one of the circuit’s most
unique and ultimate adrenaline-pumping activities, as it gives participants a taste of pure speed as they are taken from zero to 100kph in just one second while seated in a Top Dragster.
The Dragster Xperience costs BD42, while in a current special offer, a second participant can join in on the heart-stopping activity for half the price.
Safety standards of the highest level are followed at all times during the evening’s events.
BIC would like to inform those interested in the E K Kanoo Drag and Drift Night that the drifting activity on Monday will not be on offer. This is due to the unavailability of the drifting venue. BIC apologises for any inconvenience.
