F1 fans to enjoy pit lane walk Thursday at F1 Bahrain Grand Prix 2023 at BIC

F1 fans to enjoy pit lane walk Thursday at F1 Bahrain Grand Prix 2023 at BIC

Fans attending this weekend’s Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2023 will have the incredible opportunity to see the top flight’s teams and their cars up close in a pit lane walk on Thursday (2 March) night at Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) in Sakhir.

Open to all ticket holders, the pit lane walk allows race-goers to enjoy and personally experience the F1 Pit Lane and see the F1 teams hard at work in their garages as they prepare for all the action of the race weekend, taking place Friday to Sunday (Editor’s note: 3 to 5 March) at “The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East”.

The pit lane walk is one of the most popular activities of the grand prix each year, with thousands turning up to take part.

Fans will be able to take pictures and, if lucky, spot one of their favourite F1 drivers in their garage working with their engineers and mechanics.

BIC will open its gates for Thursday’s pit lane walk at 6pm and close them at 9.30pm. The pit walk will be held from 7pm to 8.30pm. Those interested in attending are advised to get to the circuit early with the large crowd expected.

The F1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2023 opens the new F1 season and it will be the 19th edition of the world’s famous desert F1 race.

Three days of top-class motorsport will be complemented by plenty of entertaining attractions that include roaming acts, stage shows, carnival rides, kids’ activities, and back-to-back concerts featuring A-list artists DJ Snake and Craig David.
