Koehler makes it two-for-two in Porsche Sprint Challenge qualifying

Leon Koehler topped the second qualifying session of the weekend in the Porsche Sprint Challenge Middle East, taking place in support of the FIA WEC Bapco 8 Hours of Bahrain at Bahrain International Circuit.

Koehler had a best lap time of two minutes 02.487 seconds.

 

 

The German enjoyed a 0.597-second gap ahead of Saul Hack of South Africa, while Berkay Besler of Turkey came third 0.768s back.

All three are competing in the Pro class in the series.

Leading the ProAm category was Jesse Van Kuijk of the Netherlands with a quickest lap of 2:03.785, while the top driver in the Am class Team Bahrain’s Shaikh Jaber Al Khalifa with a best time of 2:06.451.
