Magnificent, adrenaline-pumping rides among the many fan attractions this F1 Bahrain GP 2022 at BIC

Fans attending this weekend’s Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2022 will have plenty to enjoy off the track at Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) in Sakhir.

In signature BIC fashion, “The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East” has lined up a host of engaging attractions catered to the whole family, available all throughout the race weekend this Friday to Sunday (Editor’s note: 18 to 20 March).

These include adrenaline-fuelled rides, vibrant stage and roaming performances, fun activities for both kids and adults, plus a wide array of food and beverage offerings to complement the excitement of being present at the first race of the 2022 F1 season.

This year’s Bahrain Grand Prix is set to be a once-in-a-generation event, following the introduction of sweeping new regulations and the huge design evolution of the F1 cars. Fans in the Kingdom have the privilege of being the first in the world to experience the pinnacle of motorsport like it was never before seen.

Tickets to the race weekend can be purchased online at BIC’s official website bahraingp.com, by calling the BIC Hotline on +973-17-450000, at the BIC stand in City Centre Bahrain or at the sales tent located at Sakhir Petrol Station en route to the circuit.

Ticket discounts are available for children aged three to 12 years old at 50 per cent off, with reductions also available for students, those with special needs and senior citizens.

Among the many attractions fans can look forward to are the Ferris Wheel and Ghost Rider—a pair of thrilling rides that will surely get the heart racing.

The Ferris Wheel that has been a top draw at BIC in past Grands Prix is back. This magnificent and towering structure stands 42 metres high and it features 27 gondolas, each of which can fit six persons. Fans will be taken up in the sky for a chance to marvel at the spectacular bird’s eye view of the entire circuit and the surrounding Sakhir area.

Ghost Rider, meanwhile, is a carousel-like carnival ride with 16 gondolas, each of which can take two persons. Fans will have to buckle up and hold on tight as they will be taken for a mind-blowing adrenaline rush.

These are only two of the many attractions awaiting everyone at BIC this F1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2022.

The Formula 1 Village vending area behind BIC’s Main Grandstand will surely be bustling with activity.
